Former Resident Died Last Week at Home in Idaho

Paul M. Alexander, whose early life was spent in the Winterset community, died last Wednesday, Jan. 16, at his home in Kamiah, Ida. He was 67 years of age.

Mr. Alexander was born at Gallatin, Mo., on March 5, 1895, a son of Henson and Rebecca Zin Alexander. He was the youngest in a family of 11 children.

With his parents, he moved to Winterset in 1911 and he engaged in farming here with two of his brothers.

He served in the U.S. army during World War I. In 1934 he moved to Kamiah, Ida., where he lived until his death.

Surviving are a son, Paul Alexander of Toledo, O.; a brother, Claude Alexander of Winterset; and a sister, Mrs. Lucy Lee of Topeka, Kan.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Wilson Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Glynn Ensor, pastor of the First Baptist church here. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
