Fern Blair Alcazar of Des Moines, formerly of Winterset, died Sunday, October 21, in Des Moines at the age of 77.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 23 at Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines with burial at Glendale Cemetery there.
Born on October 8, 1902, she was the daughter of Albert and Nona Johnson Blair. Her early life was spent in Madison County where she graduated from Winterset High School.
Mrs. Alcazar was an employee of Northwestern Bell in Winterset and Des Moines for over 29 years.
Among the survivors are her husband Henry and two stepdaughters.
