THOMAS L. ADDY DIED AT 77 YEARS

Services Held Tuesday With Burial in McDonald U. B. Cemetery

Thomas L. Addy, well known retired farmer, died Sunday, May 10, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Zeller Graham, where he had been cared for recently. He was 77 years of age and had been bedfast for some time.

Mr. Addy was a native of Guernsey county, Ohio, where he was born Sept. 12, 1875, a son of Alex and Mary Addy. He was the eldest of 13 children. He came to Iowa with his parents as a boy. He farmed with his father until the latter's death, then made a home for his mother during the remainder of her lifetime.

Surviving are five brothers, Charles Addy of Winterset, Clyde Addy of San Gabriel, Calif., and Guy, Finley and Orvey Addy of Winterset; and four sisters, Mrs. Blanche Brooker of Winterset, Mrs. Leo Walters of Rapid City, S.Dak., Mrs. Greta Dorrell of Petal, Miss., and Mrs. Emma Thompson of Van Meter.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Glenn Parrott, pastor of the Winterset Methodist Church. Burial was made in the McDonald U.B. cemetery.
