James B. Troutman

ADEL-A funeral for James B. Troutman, 84, of Earlham was held May 4, 1994 at Fisher Funeral Home at Adel, with burial following at Fairview Cemetery at Melcher-Dallas. Mr. Troutman died of a heart ailment on May 1 at Earlham Health Care Center, where he had resided since 1991.

The son of William and Dora Troutman, he was born at Dallas on May 21, 1909. He lived most of his life in the Dallas County area and was a retired school teacher and farmer. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of First Christian Church at Adel and the Van Meter American Legion.

Mr. Troutman was preceded in death by his parents and by six brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a sister, Louise Bilney of Adel.
