ILENE MURRELL, Winterset

Ilene Garland Murrell, 82, died November 1, 1993 at Bethesda Care Center in Winterset. Funeral Services will be at Collins Funeral Home on Thur. Nov. 4, 1993 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Bob Epperson officiating.

Mrs. Murrell was born March 6, 1911 in Madison County to Byron and S. Iva (Beaman) Garland. She married Orbah C. Murrell in January of 1931 in Madison County. She was a homemaker and spent most of her lifetime in Madison County and Winterset.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two daughters.

Surviving relatives include one son, Phil Murrell of Urbandale; one brother, Leslie E. Garland of Blue Springs, Mo., one sister, Shirley Ford of West Des Moines; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
