Verdi Adams Services At Truro Friday

Funeral services were conducted Friday, July 29, at 11:00 a.m. from Kale Funeral Home in Truro for Verdi Ruby Adams, 81, who died Tuesday, July 26, 1977 at Madison County Memorial Hsopital.

She was born November 28, 1895 at Peru, the daughter of Anderson and Mattie Sawhill Fenimore.

Mrs. Adams was educated in the Peru schools and graduated from Four C's College in Des Moines. She was married December 20, 1925 to Charles E. Adams at Des Moines. Mrs. Adams was affiliated with the Methodist Church.

Surviving relatives include four sister, Floy Youmans of Peru, Flossie Herwehe of Norwalk, Velcie Street of Osceola, Mary Mesnier of San Diego, California; and two brothers, Bryan and Clair Fenimore of Peru.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1963, her parents and two brothers, Grover and Emery (Ted) Fenimore.

Officiating at Friday's services was Rev. Paul Hann of Winterset. Burial was made at Peru Cemetery.

Mrs Adams had been a resident of Winterset since 1958.
