Word has been received of the death of Alma Adams, 89, of San Carlos, Calif. Miss Adams was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John A. Adams of Macksurg. She was a government employee residing in Washington D.C. and Asheville, North Carolina.
She resided in California after retirement. Survivors in this area are a niece, Mrs. Nancy Wilson of Winterset and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Clare Harden of Macksburg.
