Services For Eunice Adcock

Eunice Irene Adcock, 76, of Winterset died Friday, Sept. 15, 1978, at Memorial Hospital in Winterset. She was 76 years of age, born March 18, 1902 in Madison township of Clarke County, the daughter of Francis and Margaret Louisa Iiams Kirk.

Mrs. Adcock was a resident of this county for eight years. She had taught school and was a school secretary. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Her marriage to Robert Glen Adcock took place March 19, 1925 at the home of her parents in Clarke County.

Survivors include two brothers, John R. Kirk of Winterset and Clayton O. Kirk of Peru, also three sisters, Ruth Garrett of Murray and Frances Schoonover of Lorimor and Margaret Evison of Truro.

Mrs. Adcock was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on April 12, 1958 and a sister Marie Evans.

Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Adcock on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at 1:30 p.m. from Collins Funeral Home with burial at the Winterset Cemetery. Officiating were Rev. Ben Turner and Rev. Charles Updike.
