1963MARY JANE ACHESON DIED LAST WEDNESDAY
Mary Jane Acheson, a life-time resident of the Winterset community, died last Wednesday, Oct. 2, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She wa 79 years of age.
She was a daughter of Lemuel and Rena Gilpin Acheson and was born in Madison county March 3, 1884.
She is survived by a son, Frank J. Acheson of Winterset; and two brothers, Sol Acheson of Des Moines and William Acheson of Winterset.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Wilson Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Robert Owens, pastor of the First Christian church of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
