MRS. EFFIE HELM DIES AT 75 YEARS

Mrs. Effie Helm, a life-time resident of Madison county, died Wednesday, Oct. 2, at her home in Winterset. She was 75 years of age.

Mrs. Helm was born in Douglas township Nov. 4, 1892, a daughter of Joseph F. and Teresa McAllister McDonald. As a young woman she taught in the rural schools of Madison county.

She was married to Elmer Helm, whose death occurred in 1958.

Mrs. Helm was a member of the First United Methodist church of Winterset.

Surviving are two sisters, Ella and Lily McDonald and a step-daughter, Mrs. Paul Wilson all of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Friday from the Collins Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. E. K. Burham, pastor of the First United Methodist church here. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
