Elmer Leonard Jungmann

BOONEVILLE-A funeral for Elmer Leonard Jungmann, 71, of rural Booneville was held Nov. 23, 1984 at the Van Meter United Methodist Church at Van Meter. Mr. Jungamnn died of cancer at Iowa Methodist Medical Center at Des Moines on Nov. 20.

Burial was in the Van Meter Cemetery.

Mr. Jungmann was born in Van Meter and lived in the Van Meter and Booneville areas for most of his life. He was a retired farmer and owner of the Prairie Village Mobile Home Park at Booneville. He was a member of the Van Meter United Methodist Church, where a memorial has been established in his name.

Survivors include his wife, Norma; three sons, Conrad of Waukee and James and Ron, both of Booneville, two daughters, Janice Daly of DeSoto and Judy Saltzman of Dowagiac, Mich.; two step-sons, Randy Van Meter of Booneville and Steven Van Meter of New London, Minn.; one step-daughter, Pam Enlow of Dallas Center; eight brothers, Harold of Adel, Mike and Marvin, both of Van Meter, Pete of Booneville, Ernie and Lloyd, both of Des Moines, Robert of San Diego, Calif. and paul of Kansas City, Kan.; four sisters, Esther Halverson of Nevada, Ruth Myers of Morton, Ill., Pat Guessford of Des Moines and Becky Stover of Norwalk; and 13 grandchildren
