DEXTER-A funeral for Frantz Moore Lenocker, 89, of Dexter was held June 23, 1992 at the United Methodist Church at Dexter. Mr. Lenocker died of a respiratory ailment on June 20 at Madison County Memorial Hospital at Winterset. Burial was at the Dexter Cemetery.
The son of Jacob and Daisy Moore Lenocker, he was born on March 14, 1903 in rural Madison County. He married Florence Geraldine Wells on Oct. 15, 1926. He was a lifelong resident of the Dexter area and operated the TeLinDaLee grain and livestock farm, which has received the Century Farm designation, until his retirement. A Red Angus breeder, he was named the Madison County Cattleman of the Year in 1979. He was also a member of the Dexter United Methodist Church and a past member and director of the Iowa Red Angus Association, the Madison County Fair Board and the Madison County Cattlemen’s Association.
Mr. Lenocker was preceded in death by his parents and by one grandson.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Linda Bobst and Norma Lee Wahlert, both of Dexter, and Daisy Maddy of Earlham; a son, Ted Lenocker of Dexter; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Frantz Moore Lenocker, 89, were held Tues., June 23, 1992 at Dexter United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jill Flyr officiating. Mr. Lenocker died of a respiratory ailment June 20 at Madison County Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 14, 1903 on the family farm in Penn Township and graduated from Dexter Public School. He married Florence Geraldine Wells October 15, 1926. He operated the TeLinDaLee grain and livestock farm in Penn Township, which has been designated as a Century Farm, until his retirement. He was honored as Madison County Cattleman of the Year in 1979, was a member of the Dexter United Methodist Church, Madison County Fair Board, Madison County Cattlemen's Association and was a past member and director of the Iowa Red Angus Association.
He was preceded in death by a grandson.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Norma Lee Wahlert and Linda Bobst both of Dexter and Daisy Maddy of Earlham; one son, Ted Lenocker of Earlham; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Burial was at Dexter Cemetery. McKee Funeral Home, Dexter, handled arrangements.
