EARLHAM-A funeral for Thelma G. Lenocker, 89, of Earlham was held Oct. 3, 1994 at the United Methodist Church, Dexter, with burial at Dexter Cemetery. Mrs. Lenocker died of complications of a stroke at the Earlham Health Care Center at Earlham Sept. 30, 1994.
The daughter of Fred and Ella Jones Fuller, she was born Jan. 30, 1905 at Dexter. She and her husband farmed in the Dexter area for 42 years and moved to Dexter in 1968 following their retirement. After her husband’s death in 1980, Mrs. Lenocker moved to the Madison Court retirement home in Earlham and later to the Earlham Health Care Center. She was active in her church and the United Methodist Women’s Group.
Mrs. Lenocker was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul; two brothers, Rex and Lawrence Fuller; a sister, Helen Hayes; and a grandson, Chris Lenocker. She is survived by two sons, Richard “Dick” of Newton and Kenneth of Dexter; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
