Death of Sarah Farlin

Sarah Farlin, daughter of Harry Kelsey and Maude Cunningham Kelsey, died Tuesday, August 15, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. She was born January 17, 1905 in Kansas.

Mrs. Farlin was married June 22, 1924, to Clark Farlin. They lived in the Lorimor community for many years. Survivors include three sons, Kenneth and Dale of Lorimor, Robert of California and a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Leona) Gardner of Des Moines.

Also surviving are seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Gladys Evison of California. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, August 19 at 1:30 p.m. from Watts-Lindsay Funeral Home, Rev. Kathy McDougal officiating. Burial was made at the Lorimor Cemetery.
