James Letz Funeral

Funeral services were held Monday, June 19, at 10:30 a.m. from Collins Funeral Home for James E. Letz, 70, who died Wednesday, June 14, 1978, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

He was a farm hand until 1972 and custodian at the Hubbell building in Des Moines. Mr. Letz was born March 21, 1908, in Adair County to Richard E. and Marguerite McIntyre Letz.

Mr. Letz was a member of Madison Lodge No. 136 I.O.O.F.

Survivors include three brothers, Clarence of Des Moines, Donald of Earlham and Dale of Winterset and three sisters, Alice Arnold and Vernica Stout of Winterset and Bryl Armbrest of Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, June Clague, also a brother, Cecil.

Officiating at Monday's services was Rev. David Livingston. Burial was made at the Winterset Cemetery with I.O.O.F. graveside rites.
