Forret Burial At Booneville

Funeral services for Clarence Edward Forret, a long-time farmer south of Booneville in Lee township of Madison County, were held Saturday morning, Nov. 13, from St. John's Catholic Church in Adel.

Mr. Forret died Nov. 10 at the Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. He was 70 years of age.

Mr. Forret farmed south of Booneville for 46 years. He was a member of St. John's Church at Adel and was also a long-time member of the Farmers Co-op at Booneville and the Farm Bureau.

He is survived by his wife, Ella; four daughters, Catherine Shannon and Marie Thomas of Des Moines, Ila Hightshoe of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Kay Boston of Adel; two sons, Duane Forret of deSoto, and Jay Forret of Booneville; one brother, M. J. (Bud) Forret of Adel; 20 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Rosary services for Mr. Forret were held Friday evening from the Chamberlain-Fisher Funeral home in Van Meter. Burial was in the Booneville Cemetery.
