Loyde Lull, Prole

Loyde Lull, 84, of Prole died Sept. 27, 2005, at Winterset Care Center North.

Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 30, at Collins Oak Park Chapel in Winterset with Pastor Bobb Barrick officiating. Burial was at Montpelier Cemetery, Crawford Township, Madison County.

Loyde Lull was born March 22, 1921, in Madison County to Robert and Blanche E. (Hyser) Lull. On Oct. 19, 1941, he married Leota P. DeBok in Chillicothe, Mo. Loyde had been a lifetime resident and farmer of Madison County. He was a member of the Patterson United Methodist Church and the former Patterson Lions Club and a 40-year member of the I.O.O.F. He also was a Crawford Township clerk.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Rex, Roy and Clyde Lull, and a sister, Anna Helen Lull.

He is survived by his wife, Leota, of Prole; two sons, Loyde Lull Jr. of Grimes and Russell Lull of West Des Moines; two daughters, Kathleen Livingston of Winterset and Linda Daniels of New Virginia; a brother, Robert “Pete” Lull Jr. of Martensdale; a sister, Mary Jo Tucker of Macksburg; and 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
