ST. CHARLES RITES FOR PERCY (PERRY) JONES

Funeral services were held July 17 from the St. Charles Christian church for Perry O. Jones of that community, whose death had occurred at his home there on July 15. Burial was made in Union Chapel cemetery.

Mr. Jones, who was 86 years of age at his death, was a life-long resident of Madison county. He was born southeast of Winterset on Jan. 9, 1873.

He was married to Anna Breeding in 1898. They were the parents of one daughter, Mrs. Pearl Peters. The wife and mother died in 1903.

After the death of his first wife, he was married to Irene Harrell. She died also, about five years later. His third marriage was to Estella Carter, who survives him.

In addition to his wife and daughter, he leaves two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Arthur J. Jones and Mayme Jones, both of Winterset.
