Hazel M. Ross, 85, of Earlham, died of Parkinson's disease Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2002, at Westbridge Care Center in Winterset.

Services were held Saturday, Dec. 28, at Kuhn Funeral Home in Earlham, with burial at Earlham Cemetery.

Hazel Ross was born in Clearfield and had lived in Mount Union before moving to Earlham, 65 years ago. She was a retired bookkeeper with Hunter Brothers Motor Co. and a member of Order of the Eastern Star and Earlham United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Donald; a son, Jim of Earlham; two daughters, Marilyn Jennings of Snohomish, Wash., and Pat Altwegg of Clive; a sister, Eyloe Rumboldt of Knoxville, Tenn.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
