Karen Ann Clague, 49, died July 23, 2001, in Fresno, Calif. Services are pending.

Karen attended the University of Minnesota. She was an accomplished flutist and worked with the Hmong people, writing a Hmong/English dictionary.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roscoe and Amanda Eliason of Letts and Glen and Hazel Clague of Earlham.

She is survived by a daughter, Kaia Clague of California, her mother, Ann Eliason Clague of Eagan Minn.; her father, Thomas E. Clague of Minneapolis, Minn.; a sister, Candace Dombrok of Owatonna, Minn.; two brothers, Keven Clague of Owatonna, Minn., and Brian Clague of Boston, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.
