ARCHIE MORGAN
Archie Morgan, son of John and Mary Morgan, was born near Peru, Nov. 17th, 1881. He departed this life at Osceola, Dec. 26, 1939, at the age of 58 years, 1 month, and 9 days. His entire life was spent in or near Peru, except a few years in Montana and Nebraska.
At the age of 17 he united with the Christian church in Barney.
He joined the Masonic lodge in 1910, and had since been a very ardent Brother. He was also a member of the Odd Fellows lodge. He made his home in Peru with his father and mother, until they passed away before him. He will ever be remembered for his loving care, kindness and helpfulness to his father and mother.
One brother, George, and two sisters, Anna and Rachel, preceded him in death.
He leaves to mourn his departure one brother, Sammy Morgan, and one sister, Ethel Robshaw both of Peru, one uncle, Hiram Woods of Murray; three nieces, Edna Mathews of Nebraska; Mary Rhone and Mildred Robshaw of Peru; five nephews, Orville Armstrong, Murrell Robshaw, George Robshaw and John Robshaw of Peru, and Marvin Armstrong of Truro, and many friends.
