FORMER RESIDENT KILLED IN WRECK

Patrick Kelleher, a native of Madison county, who has lived in Des Moines since he was a small boy, was killed in a car-train collision at E. Seventeenth street and Euclid avenue in Des Moines Wednesday, July 16th. The young man, who was 28 years of age, was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom Kelleher, who lived on what is known as the county line road, north of Bevington.

Kelleher is survived by his wife, and a small child. He also leaves eight sisters and four brothers. His parents and one brother preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Friday morning, July 18, at St. Joseph’s church in Des Moines and burial was in the Glendale cemetery there.

Those attending the funeral from here included Mr. and Mrs. Jim Mulvihill and Jack Kelleher.
