Mrs. Clella Burgan, formerly of near Macksburg, died Tuesday, Sept. 5, in Des Moines, where she had lived the last several years. She was 38 years of age.
Mrs. Burgan was the former Clella Loomis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Loomis. She was born in Madison county, Jan. 30, 1928. She was graduated from Macksburg High school. In 1950 she was married to Merle Burgan, and they had been living in Des Moines.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Diane, aged 12; a son, Randy, aged 8; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Loomis of Lorimor; a sister, Mrs. Helen Reed of California; and two brothers, Kenneth Loomis of Winterset and Robert Loomis of California.
Funeral services were held Friday from the First Church of God in Des Moines, conducted by the Rev. Marvin Proctor. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
