WINTERSET WOMAN DIES AT OTTUMWA

Mrs. Emma Terrell Had Been Resident Here Since 1939

Mrs. Emma A. Terrell of Winterset died this Sunday, Sept. 14, at the home of her son, Steve Overturf, of Ottumwa.

Mrs. Terrell had been a resident of Winterset from 1939 until about six weeks ago, when she became ill and was moved to a hospital in Ottumwa.

She is survived by her husband, two sons, Steve and George Overturf of Ottumwa; three daughters, Mrs. Eugene Swanson of Ottumwa, Mrs. Art Brown of Patterson and Mrs. Harold McDonald of Winterset; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services were held this Tuesday in Ottumwa, conducted by her grandson, the Rev. David Pease of the Douds Methodist church. Burial was made in the Ottumwa cemetery.
