Page 3Isaac S. Adams was born in South Hero, Vermont, Feb. 4th, 1821. Died at his home near Winterset, Iowa, May 25th, 1908, age 87 years, 3 months and 21 days.
He was married to Clarinda E. Ross, July 22nd, 1855. To this union was born nine children, two dying in childhood. Clayton, whose residence is unknown, Jessie, of Mystic, South Dakota, Will, of Meeteetse, Wyoming, Buell, Jennie, Callie and Guy who live near or at home.
The funeral services were held at the home conducted by Rev. E. E. Bennett of the Christian church after which the remains were laid to rest in the Gordon cemetery.

Isaac Adams, of Lincoln township, died Monday night. Mr. Adams has for many years been an invalid. He was past eighty-seven years of age. He came to Madison county in 1871. He was a man of the highest character and respected by everyone who knew him.

Thursday, May 28, 1908Isaac Adams, one of the oldest citizens of Lincoln township, died Monday at the advanced age of 87 years. Mr. Adams was a native of New York state and came to Madison county in 1872. Funeral services were held Wednesday and burial at Gordon cemetery.
