BETTY BRAMAN DIES AT 25 YEARS

Young Winterset Woman Had Been in Failing Health In Recent Years

Mrs. Jack Braman of near Winterset died last Saturday, Jan. 15, at a Des Moines hospital at the age of 25 years. Born at St. Charles, she had lived most of her brief life in and near Winterset, and was well known in this community. She had been in failing health for several years.

Mrs. Braman was the former Betty Jean Brandt, daughter of Raymond and Mildred Brandt. She attended the Winterset schools, graduating from Winterset High school with the class of 1959. Following graduation, she was employed for several years in the office of Dr. Jerry L. Larsen, and at the law office of Emery Goodenberger in Winterset.

She was a member of the First Methodist church of Winterset.

She was married Oct. 8, 1960, to Jack Braman, who survives her.

Also surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Brandt of Winterset; a brother, Marvin Brandt of Winterset; and her grandfather, R. F. Black of St. Charles.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the First Methodist church of Winterset, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. E. K. Burham. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
