EDNA CLARK Service Held

Mrs. Edna F. Clark, a lifetime resident of Madison County, died Monday, January 29, 1973, at her home in Douglas township. She was 73 years of age.

Mrs. Clark was the widow of H. S. "Dick" Clark, who death occurred last October 25.

She was the former Edna McDonald, daughter of William S. and Barbara Combs McDonald, and was born in Madison County October 18, 1899. She was married to Dick Clark in Winterset on February 24, 1916. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are four children, Albert Clark of Winterset; Robert Clark of Norwalk; Mrs. Beatrice Potter of Glendale, California; and Eugene Clark of Kansas City, Missouri. One son, Virgil Clark, died in January, 1972.

She also leaves 12 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Corgie Bennett of Winterset.

Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Collins Funeral Home in Wintersest, conducted by the Rev. Newston Coughenour, pastor of the First United Methodist Church here. Burial was made in Chase-McDonald Cemetery.
