Sherry K. Briney, 33, of Winterset died of liver cancer Nov. 24, 2000, at her home.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 29) at Word of Life Christian Center, Winterset, with Pastor Bruce Wangler officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.
Sherry Briney was born March 13, 1967, in Spencer. Her marriage to Craig Briney took place Sept. 19, 1992, at the First United Methodist Church in Winterset. She had been a dental hygienist for Young General Dental for eight years. Sherry was a member of the Word of Life Christian Center, Winterset, where she was involved with the M & M's (Mothers and Munchkins).
She was preceded in death by a twin sister at birth.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Cory Briney at home; two daughters, Maddie and Emily Briney, both at home; her mother Kathie Howe of Lenox, S.D.; a sister, Molly Cogley of Sioux Falls, S.D.; a brother, Jeff Bramley of Sioux Falls, S.D.; father and mother-in-law, Roger and Viola Briney of Winterset; a sister-in-law, Sherri Knutson of Truro; brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Cindy Briney of Winterset and a grandfather-in-law, Howard Briney.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Briney Children Trust, c/o the Winterset office of Edward Jones.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset.
