Death of W. H. Bertholf

W. H. Bertholf, aged 73, died in Des Moines Thursday at the home of his son, Walter. The remains were brought to Winterset Saturday morning and were interred at the Hooten cemetery.

Mr. Bertholf lived in Madison county about thirty years, going from here to Des Moines, several years ago to reside with his son. He was a brother of James and Lindsey Bertholf, both residents of this county.

Those who accompanied the body here were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Anderson and son, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bertholf, son and grandson, Wray and Cole Bertholf all of Des Moines.
