Death of Levi Alexander

Levi Alexander died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ed. Tracy of Arispe Saturday morning at 9 o'clock from congestion of the lungs, aged 82 years and 11 months.

Mr. Alexander formerly lived in Lincoln township, on the farm now occupied by L. R. Hircock. He leaves two daughters, also one son, E. W. Alexander who lives southwest of Winterset. The wife preceeded him in death a number of years ago.

Funeral services were held at Arispe Monday morning and the remains were brought to Winterset for burial.
