Funeral services for Charles R. "Tunney" Barrus, 70, were held July 2 at the Wyoming Avenue Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mr. Barrus died June 29, 1993 at his home in Cody. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery.

He was born June 19, 1923 to Charles and Hazel (Rees) Barrus in Winterset. He was a 1942 Winterset High School graduate and married Barbara Preece on September 25, 1950. He worked for Husky Oil Refinery and ran a small farm. He served in the U. S. Army for three years.

He is survived by his wife who is living in Orem, Utah, 13 children, 24 grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters.
