LOUISE HUFFMAN DIES AT 72 YEARS

Webster Township Resident had Lived in County 36 Years

Mrs. Walker Huffman of Webster township died Monday, Aug. 21 at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 72 years of age.

Mrs. Huffman was the former Louise M. Schulz, daughter of Otto and Christiana Luers Schulz. She was born at Orient on Oct. 18, 1888. For the last 36 years her home had been in Madison County.

She was married Jan. 2, 1908, to Robert McCaslen, who preceded her death. Her marriage to Mr. Huffman occurred Sept. 17, 1925.

Mrs. Huffman was a member of the Oak Grove E.U.B. church.

Surviving are her husband, Walker Huffman; four children, Mrs. Mable Short of Greenfield, Ronald McCaslen of Van Meter, Mrs. Helen Weaver of Fremont, Calif., and Mrs. Wanda Gray of West Branch; 13 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and three brothers, Will W. Schulz of Sidney, Nebr., Frank Schulz of Macksburg and Ray Schulz of Winterset.

Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Collins Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. L. Davis Harris of Oak Grove and the Rev. Arthur Weed of Orient. Burial was to be made in the Winterset cemetery.
