IDA CUTSHALL Dies at 71 Years

Mrs. Perrie Cutshall, a well-known resident of Jefferson township for many years, died Monday, Oct. 3, 1966, at a Des Moines hospital. She was 71 years of age.

Mrs. Cutshall was the former Ida Leona Chase, born in this county Aug. 17, 1895, a daughter of Alanson and Eva Chase. She was married to Perrie Cutshall in 1915, and spent the remainder of her life on the old Samuel Cutshall homestead in Jefferson township with the exception of two years in Winterset. Her husband preceded her in death.

She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Crow of Clarinda; a son, Robert Cutshall of Van Meter; three grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Ella Kennedy of Boise, Idaho, Mrs. Mary Meyer and Mrs. Pearl Shaw of Winterset, and Mrs. Grace Cross of Denver, Colorado; and two brothers, Earl Chase of Redfield and Harold Chase of Modesto, Calif.

Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Van Meter E.U.B. church, conducted by the Rev. Donald Jones and the Rev. Clifford Carter. Burial was made in the Winterset Cemetery.
