LEO R. PACE DIED HERE LAST SUNDAY

Leo R. Pace, a life-long resident of the Patterson community,in Madison county, died at the Memorial hospital in Winterset Sunday, Aug. 23. He was 50 years of age.

Mr. Pace was born Oct. 30, 1902 at Patterson. His active years were spent in farming.

He is survived by his wife, the former Dorcas Lyon; a daughter by a previous marriage, Mrs. Doris Krichau of Columbia; a granddaughter; a brother, Glenn Pace of Patterson; and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Vierling of Winterset and Mrs. Doris Garland of Des Moines.

Funeral services were held Wednesday from the Patterson Methodist church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Eldon Haworth. Burial was made in the Montpelier cemetery at Patterson.
