Dorothy Agnew, Winterset

Dorothy Agnew, 84, of Winterset died of heart failure at home on April 24, 1994. Funeral services will be Fri., April 29, at 9 a.m. at Dunns Funeral Home in Des Moines. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. on Thurs., April 28, 1994.

She was born Sept. 22, 1909 near Coon Rapids to Harry and Eunice (Weber) Agnew and has lived in Winterset for the last 25 years. She was a school teacher and farmed near Winterset. She owned three motels in the Winterset and Osceola areas and was a member of the Cottage Grove Ave. Presbyterian Church in Des Moines.

Surviving relatives include one sister, Beth (Hood) Hicks of Hanover Park, Ill.; and one nephew, Stephen Hicks, also of Hanover Park, Ill.
