FLORA FAIRHOLM DIES AT 82 YEARS

Native of England Had Lived In Madison County Since 1920

Mrs. Flora H. Fairholm of Winterset, a native of England who had lived in Madison county since 1920, died Sunday, Dec. 19, at a Winterset nursing home. She was 82 years of age.

Mrs. Fairholm was the former Flora Simmons, daughter of George and Jane Moone Simmons, and was born in Penponds, England, on Sept. 14, 1883.

She was married Oct. 24, 1906, at Salt Lake City, Utah, to Frank R. Fairholm. They came to Cass county, Iowa in 1910, and to Madison county in 1920. Her husband died in 1925.

She was a member of the Episcopal Church of England.

Mrs. Fairholm is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Tom Ham, and a son, Verne Fairholm, both of Peru; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
