JAMES M. CUTLER Buried Saturday

Funeral services were held Saturday from St. Patricks Catholic church in Lee township for James M. Cutler, a pioneer resident of the Irish settlement. Burial was made in St. Patrick's cemetery.

Mr. Cutler was 89 years of age at his death, which occurred at Grinnell, where he had been living the last 18 years, making his home with a daughter, Mrs. John Hotchkiss (Hotchkin).

Mr. Cutler was born in Madison county, and spent most of his life as a farmer in Crawford township.

He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Hotchkiss (Hotchkin) of Grinnell, Mrs. T. F. Irwin and Mrs. Elmer Holland of Des Moines; three sons, Howard Cutler of Los Angeles, Calif., Joseph Cutler, of St. Louis, Mo., and James J. Cutler of Portland, Ore.; a sister, Mulia Cutler of Des Moines; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

Note: the name of a son, Howard Cutler is incorrect and the sister Mulia's correct name is Jewel.
