February 11, 1981PAUL KLEIN Dies at Age 82
Paul N. Klein died Friday, Feb. 6, 1981, at Villa West Care Center in Winterset. He was 82 years of age.
Born April 21, 1898 in Galten, Illinois, he was the son of George F. Klein and Jennie Kershner. On December 21, 1929 he married Verna Wildin in Detroit, Michigan, who is still living.
Mr. Klein worked for Swift and Co., retiring in 1958. In 1959 he moved to Winterset from Chicago, Ill.
He was a member of the Patterson United Methodist Church, St. Charles Lions Club, and a Mason for 62 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Percy and Fay.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, Feb. 9 at the Patterson United Methodist Church, Rev. Scott Grotewold officiating. Burial was at Montpelier Cemetery.
