Anna K. Bobst, St. Charles

Services for Anna K. Bobst, 86, St. Charles, who died Saturday, Oct. 3, at Winterset Care Center North, were held Tuesday, Oct. 6 at Blair Chapel with the Rev. Tom Webster of St. Charles officiating. Burial was at Blair Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Bobst was born in Alexander, the daughter of Axel and Christina Hextel Nelson. She graduated from Belmond High School and was married to Fred Bobst at Alexander on Sept. 3, 1918. She was a homemaker and a member of Farm Bureau, St. Charles Garden Club and the United Methodist Church.

She was a resident of the care center here since 1976. Survivors include a son, Paul Bobst and wife Helen of St. Charles; a sister, Bertha Koppenhaver of Springville; a brother, Ted Nelson of Paradise, Calif.,; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Sheryl Bobst of Earlham.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents and a son.
