Death of John Rehard

John Rehard died at seven o'clock this morning at the old homestead four miles west of Winterset where he had made his home with his son, L. H. Rehard for some time past. He had reached the ripe old age of 86 years. While somewhat enfeebled by old age, his health was fairly good until about two months ago.

Mr. Rehard settled in section 32, Douglas township in an early day. By uniting industry and thrift, he accumulated a good sized fortune and about ten years ago, divided his land among his children and retired from the farm
