GLENN CROW Death

Glenn Crow, 86, a retired farmer of the Macksburg community, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 1978, at Memorial Hospital in Winterset. He was born November 11, 1891, in Madison County.

The son of Azariah Duvall and Jessie Hart Smith Crow, Mr. Crow was a lifetime resident of this county. His marriage to Dorothy V. Ridout took place August 4, 1915, in Creston. She preceded her husband in death March 17, 1967.

Mr. Crow was a member of Mason Cypress Lodge No. 539 for 63 years at Orient, Iowa. He was affiliated with the Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Dean Crow of Des Moines; a brother, Charles Crow of Winterset; a sister, Nellie Spera of Tucson, Arizona, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a brother, Wayne.

Funeral services for Glenn Crow were conducted Monday, Feb. 20, at 1 p.m. from the United Methodist Church at Macksburg, Rev. John Ackerman officiating. Burial was made at the Moon Cemetery, Macksburg.
