MARGARET ORR, Winterset

Margaret Leota Orr, 87, died of multiple organ system failure Nov. 14, 2002, at Winterset Care Center South.

Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 18, at St. Charles Parish with Pastor Darold Snow officiating. Burial was at St. Charles Cemetery.

Margaret Orr was born May 17, 1915, in Madison County to Elmer Clarence and Permelia Alice (Schutz) Eivins. On Nov. 15, 1936, she married Dale Darwin Orr in Madison County. A lifetime resident of Madison County, Margaret had been a member of the Women's Day Circle and St. Charles Parish.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, two brothers and two sisters (one in infancy).

She is survived by her husband, Dale, of Winterset; a daughter Barbara Daniels (husband Claude) of St. Charles; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Collins Oak Park Chapel in Winterset.
