Services will be Thursday, Dec. 13, at 2:00 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home for Joseph H. McAdow, 79, of Winterset, who died Tuesday morning at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.
A son of Clyde F. and Mae Pooler McAdow, he was born Sept. 4, 1905 at Morrisson, Oklahoma.
Mr. McAdow farmed for a number of years in Lincoln township southwest of Winterset.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian; three daughters, Marcella Zimmerman of San Lorenzo, Calif., Beverly Fletcher of Sioux City, and Donna Lee Davis of Winterset; a sister, Fern Black of Iowa City; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Floyd and Harry McAdow.
