James A. Bush of Winterset Passes

Elderly Resident Died on Tuesday at Winterset Hospital

James A. Bush, a Winterset citizen for the past 20 years, died at the Winterset hospital Tuesday after a brief illness. He was 81 years of age.

Mr. Bush was a native of Burlington, where he was born Oct. 6, 1861, the son of Jackson and Sarah Walker Bush. Most of his early life was spent near Orient. He was not married.

Nearest surviving relatives are four brothers and a sister. They are: Robert Bush of near Winterset, Lee Bush of Greenfield, Tom Bush of Orient, Ellis Bush of Winterset, and Mrs. O. L. Rankin of near Winterset.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday at 1 p. m. from Ramsey-Richards funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Tom Foglesong, pastor of the Winterset Church of Christ. Burial will be made at the Zion cemetery near Orient.
