Maude E. Hann, a former school teacher in Adair County, died Saturday, July 14, 1973, at a nursing home in Winterset. She was 89 years of age.
Mrs. Hann was born November 5, 1883 in Adair county, the daughter of James and Anna Busby Walker. She was married to Walter E. Hann January 14, 1904 in Greenfield, Iowa
Affiliated with the First United Methodist Church of Winterset, Mrs. Hann was a member of the United Methodist Women of the Church, the Scott Township Community Circle and the Clover Club of Ord neighborhood.
Surviving Mrs. Hann is a daughter, Madelene Graves of Winterset; a grandchild, and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Hann was preceded in death by her husband April 3, 1959.
Survivors also include two brothers, Wilbur Walker and Dudley Walker of Rock Island, Illinois, and two sisters, Mildred Garrels of Revere, Missouri and Mrs. George Wolgamott of Monett, Missouri.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hann were held Tuesday, July 17, at 11:00 a.m. from the First United Methodist Church of Winterset, with the Rev. Paul Bousfield presiding.
Burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
