ELLA MCMURRAY DIED WEDNESDAY

Several Years of Failing Health Ends at Age of 87 Years

Mrs. Ella M. McMurray, former resident of Patterson, died early Wednesday morning at the home of her son, C. A. McMurray, in Winterset. She was 87 years of age, and had been in failing health for several years.

Mrs. McMurray was the former Ella M. Barr, and was born south of Indianola, in Warren county. Her early life and her marriage occurred there.

She and her husband lived in Des Moines for many years before retiring and moving to Patterson. In 1942 they moved to Winterset, and her husband's death occurred here in 1944.

She is survived by the son, C. A. McMurray of Winterset; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held this Friday at 2 p.m. from Anderson's Home for Funerals. Burial will be made in the cemetery at Indianola.
