Frank McNamara, Winterset

Services for Frank McNamara, 78, Winterset, who died March 10 at the Care Center South, will be held Thursday, March 13, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Maurice J. Schulte officiating. Burial will be at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born in Union township on June 10, 1907, he was the son of James and Margaret Nolan McNamara. A lifetime resident, he was retired from the Brown Line Motor Freight Co. Mr. McNamara was a member of Joseph's Catholic Church and Teamster's Local No. 147.

On April 23, 1934, he was married to Marg Brown in Winterset. Survivors include sons, Nick of West Des Moines and Pat of Winterset; brothers, Martin of Chanute, Kan., and John of Mexico, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Herman Lewis of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and two brothers.

A rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home. Visitation will be held until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.
