PAUL STORCK FUNERAL FRIDAY

Life-Long Resident of This County Had Died on Jan. 18

Funeral services were held last Friday from Trinity Lutheran church in Jefferson township for Paul G. Storck of Madison township, whose death had occurred Tuesday, Jan. 18, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. The Pastor, the Rev. E. A. Breiholz, conducted the service.

Mr. Storck was 76 years of age at his death. He had been in failing health since December 1964, at which time he had entered a Des Moines Hospital. In April, 1965, he moved to the Madison Manor nursing home in Winterset, remaining there until transferring to Memorial hospital last December.

Paul Gerhardt Storck was born in Madison township Jan. 24, 1889, a son of George and Henrietta Marquardt Storck. He was married in Boone on April 21, 1915 to Nellie Bolt. Their life together was spent in Madison county engaged in farming.

He was active in the Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance association, of which he was a director and honorary vice president, at the time of his death. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, where he had served two terms as elder, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Fellowship and Trinity Lutheran Men's club.

His wife preceded him in death, as did also four sisters and three brothers. He leaves two sons, Paul G. Storck of Van Meter and Van Storck of Winterset; a granddaughter and a brother, Walter Storck, of Madison township.
