CLARENCE "DUGAN" EIVINS, Macksburg

Services for Clarence L. "Dugan" Eivins, 81, rural Macksburg, who died Dec. 23, 1986, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, were held Saturday, Dec. 27, at the Macksburg United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ron Kinzler officiating. Burial was at the Pleasant View Cemetery.

Born Aug. 25, 1905 in Webster township, he was the son of Elmer and Permella Schutz Eivins. He was a retired carpenter, plumber, electrician and home builder.

Mr. Eivins was a lifetime resident of Madison County and a member of the Masons and the Macksburg Methodist Church. He graduated from Macksburg High School in 1924 and later attended aeronautics school in Lincoln, Nebr.

Survivors include sisters, Thelma Coffman of Winterset and Margaret Orr of St. Charles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
