Margaret Frances Clark 87, died June 27, 2003, at Regent Care Center in Woodland, Texas.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. today (Wednesday, July 2) at the First United Presbyterian Church in Winterset with the Rev. Jim Howland officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.
Margie Clark was born Dec. 14, 1915, in Winterset to Fred H. and Mary Elizabeth (Cridling) Wilkinson. She was a graduate of Winterset High School. On Sept. 21, 1934, she married W. Ed Clark at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. A lifetime resident of Winterset before moving to Texas in 2001, Margie had been a business partner with her husband at Clark Television Service. She also had been a cosmetologist early in her life. She was a member of PEO (over 50 years) and Winterset First United Presbyterian Church, where she had taught Sunday school.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sisters, Muriel Howell and Bea Macumber.
She is survived by a daughter, Wanda Hirl of Clinton; two sons, Calvin Clark of Streetman, Texas and Brian Clark of Kansas City, Kan.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the First United Presbyterian Church.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Collins Oak Park Chapel in Winterset.
